ABBYY’s FineReader AI development toolkit is being upgraded with the latest ABBYY technology, matching the capabilities and high quality and accuracy provided by the ABBYY Vantage IDP platform. Developers will be able to access key technological enhancements, including advanced automatic checkmark detection and recognition, improved text recognition and document conversion quality, and enhanced detection of document structure and text order, ensuring optimal quality of the output. These advancements empower application developers to boost the efficiency of intelligent document processing, OCR, and text and data extraction across a diverse array of use cases.

Across the ABBYY IDP portfolio, developers will be able to access new and improved tools and capabilities expanding the variety of use cases that can be effectively covered by their document, text, and data processing applications. ABBYY FineReader AI is being enhanced with a completely new AI-powered handwriting recognition (ICR). The mobile input capabilities of ABBYY Vantage can now be integrated in native iOS and Android apps.

New data extraction processing profile and JSON export will further extend the capabilities of the FineReader AI SDK. ABBYY Timeline to soon offer a public API, allowing seamless integration with different data systems, breaking down data silos and ensuring process transparency and end-to-end analysis.
