Meet Alicja Wolanczyk, ABBYY’s Head of Partner Strategy and Alliances. With a wealth of experience in building impactful partnerships, Alicja is dedicated to creating alliances that drive innovation and value. As the lead of our MVP initiative, she’s helping connect ABBYY with experts who are shaping the future of intelligent automation.

Can you share a bit about your career journey, and what led you to ABBYY?

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on blending analytical thinking with creativity to tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful results. I’ve led digital transformation and automation initiatives across industries such as insurance, banking, and FMCG, working with both multinational companies, as well as startups. Before joining ABBYY, I headed a team of developers and project managers at a Finnish startup, leveraging AI to drive e-commerce growth. I've always been passionate about technology and how it impacts our lives. Over three years ago, I joined ABBYY as an Innovation Consultant - a role that perfectly aligned with my goals to address exciting challenges, drive innovation, and work alongside the industry leader to drive impact.

 

 

How has ABBYY contributed to your personal and professional growth?

ABBYY has played a key role in my personal and professional growth. The company’s focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology has pushed me to deepen my expertise. Being part of a talented, diverse team has expanded my perspective, and the flexibility of remote work has allowed me to manage my time and contribute effectively across global projects. I’ve developed new skills in leadership and innovation, and the freedom to explore creative solutions has fueled my passion for driving growth and transformation in the tech industry. What excites you most about your role as Head of Partner Strategy and Alliances?

What excites me most about my role is the opportunity to drive growth through strong partnerships and innovation. I’m passionate about collaborating with diverse teams and partners to create impactful solutions that shape the future. It’s all about identifying new opportunities and driving strategic success for the business.

What impact do you see ABBYY's partnerships having on the wider community of professionals and experts in our field?

ABBYY’s partnerships are all about leveraging cutting-edge technology to tackle real-world challenges. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing this in action – like at the ABBYY Developer Conference in India, where partners and developers showcase creative ways to use our technology to solve customer problems. These collaborations create opportunities for learning, growth, and innovation.
