OKI Europe Selects ABBYY to Provide Advanced Optical Character Recognition Capability to Multifunctional Printers

ABBYY, a leading provider of document recognition, data capture and linguistic software, has been selected for their ABBYY Recognition Server by OKI Europe Ltd, an award-winning leader in print and document solutions. This powerful software has been integrated into OKI Europe’s  portfolio of multifunction printers providing enterprise-level optical character recognition (OCR) and document conversion to help businesses streamline processes and fulfill everyday OCR requirements.

Based on ABBYY’s award-winning recognition platform, ABBYY Recognition Server offers highly accurate conversion of images into Microsoft® Office formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or searchable PDF and PDF/A for the purpose of structuring, searching and archiving.  ABBYY Recognition Server automatically converts large volumes of paper documents or document images that companies deal with on a daily basis like letters, HR documents, contracts, invoices, etc. into fully searchable electronic text. It enables automated, unattended document processing that can be managed and accessed from within an organisation as well as remotely. ABBYY intelligent OCR and PDF conversion technology delivers highly accurate document conversion with recognition of up to 190 languages.
