They are easily readable on different electronic devices, easily accessible from remote locations, and can be centrally archived in digital libraries, electronic archives, or in document management systems.

Data from business documents may be imported from multi-channels via document scanner, MFP, digital files, FTP and email, and network folders. FineReader Server can process hundreds of pages per minute.

Documents are separated and converted to searchable PDF or PDF/A files.

Highly accurate OCR/ICR/OMR and barcode recognition recognize printed text in up to 200 languages, hand-printed text in over 130 languages, a variety of 1D and 2D barcodes, and a wide range of checkmarks.
