ABBYY MVPs are ABBYY employees, customers, and partners that are recognized for their deep technical knowledge, innovative use of ABBYY technologies, and their willingness to share insights and best practices with others. They are leaders within the community who provide valuable feedback to ABBYY, helping to drive product improvement and adoption.

How do I become an ABBYY MVP?
1 November - 31 December, we will open applications for a new group of ABBYY MVPs. Winners announced January 2026. This is what the process looks like:
- Application stage: If you meet the criteria or know someone who does, let us know through the application form.
- Shortlisting stage: The ABBYY Selection Committee reviews all the applications and will contact the selected candidates.
- Interview stage: Stay tuned – if you are a shortlisted candidate, our ABBYY Selection Committee will arrange a short 15-20 minute call to meet you and validate your profile for MVP.
- Selection: Once you are selected as an ABBYY MVP, there will be an official announcement to the wider community. You will hold this title for a year and will have to re-apply if interested to continue the next year.
What do MVPs get?
Becoming an ABBYY MVP means:

- Official certificate and badges: An official certificate recognizing your status as an ABBYY MVP, along with the use of the ABBYY MVP title in professional contexts.

- Press releases: Public announcements of the MVP status through press releases and other media outlets.
- Exclusive access and influence to our product roadmap: ABBYY MVPs are allowed to vote on the priority of upcoming features in the product roadmap.

What are the selection criteria?
To become an ABBYY MVP, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Expertise in ABBYY technologies:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of ABBYY products and solutions.
- Showcase innovative applications of ABBYY technologies in real-world scenarios.
- Community influence:
- Actively share knowledge and best practices through blogs, webinars, forums, or public speaking engagements.
- Mentor and guide other community members in using ABBYY technologies.

- Provide constructive and actionable feedback to ABBYY’s product development teams.
- Advocacy and evangelism:

How long does MVP status last?
MVP status is granted for one calendar year, after which members may be re-evaluated for renewal based on their continued engagement and contributions.
What happens if I’m not selected?
If you are not selected in the current cycle, you are welcome to stay engaged with the community, continue contributing, and apply again in the next intake. All contributors are valued, regardless of MVP status.
