ABBYY Most Valuable Professional (MVP)

1 November - 31 December, we will open applications for a new group of ABBYY MVPs. Winners announced January 2026. This is what the process looks like:

• Application stage: If you meet the criteria or know someone who does, let us know through the application form.
• Shortlisting stage: The ABBYY Selection Committee reviews all the applications and will contact the selected candidates.
• Interview stage: Stay tuned – if you are a shortlisted candidate, our ABBYY Selection Committee will arrange a short 15-20 minute call to meet you and validate your profile for MVP.
• Selection: Once you are selected as an ABBYY MVP, there will be an official announcement to the wider community. You will hold this title for a year and will have to re-apply if interested to continue the next year.

Becoming an ABBYY MVP means:

• Recognition: Acknowledges your expertise and contributions to the community.
• Exclusive access: Provides early access to new products and features.
• Networking opportunities: Connects you with other top professionals in the field.
• Support and resources: Offers of additional resources and support to further develop your knowledge.

The benefits may change every year based on feedback from existing ABBYY MVPs, however initial benefits include:

• Official certificate and badges: An official certificate recognizing your status as an ABBYY MVP, along with the use of the ABBYY MVP title in professional contexts.
• Public acknowledgment: MVPs highlighted on the ABBYY website, in newsletters, and through social media channels.
• Press releases: Public announcements of the MVP status through press releases and other media outlets.
• Exclusive access and influence to our product roadmap: ABBYY MVPs are allowed to vote on the priority of upcoming features in the product roadmap.
• Showcase success stories: Opportunity to have your case studies featured on ABBYY’s communications platforms, including blogs, webinars, and website.
• Networking and community building: Exclusive invitations to special events and meetups, both online (webinars) and in-person (e.g. AI Summit, DevCon), designed to facilitate networking and collaboration among MVPs.
• Branded merchandise: Exclusive ABBYY-branded merchandise, such as clothing, accessories, and office supplies.
• You may be invited as a guest speaker on ourABBYY AI Pulse Podcast!

Being an ABBYY MVP is an honor but also responsibility. We expect you to dedicate at least one day a month towards activities that inspire our community. An ABBYY MVP is a:

• Brand ambassador who actively promotes ABBYY products and technology through speaking engagements, social media, and professional networks.
• Positive influencer with the ability to influence peers and organizations to adopt and leverage ABBYY in their digital transformation projects.
• Proactive voice who regularly provides valuable feedback to ABBYY’s product development teams, contributing to the improvement and evolution of ABBYY products, as well as communicate feedback on the MVP program itself.
• Collaborator and team player who effectively communicates with ABBYY teams, partners, and other professionals to drive the success of projects.

To become an ABBYY MVP, candidates should meet the following criteria:

1. Expertise in ABBYY technologies:
   
   • Demonstrate a deep understanding of ABBYY products and solutions.
   • Showcase innovative applications of ABBYY technologies in real-world scenarios.
2. Community influence:
   
   • Actively share knowledge and best practices through blogs, webinars, forums, or public speaking engagements.
   • Mentor and guide other community members in using ABBYY technologies.
3. Impactful feedback:
   
   • Provide constructive and actionable feedback to ABBYY’s product development teams.
4. Advocacy and evangelism:
   
   • Act as an ambassador for ABBYY, promoting the brand and its solutions within and outside your professional network.
   • Drive the adoption of ABBYY technologies in digital transformation projects.

The ABBYY MVP program is open to developers, tech leaders, partners, and practitioners who actively use and advocate for ABBYY technologies and contribute meaningfully to the community through thought leadership, innovation, and engagement.

Strong contributions include sharing technical insights, publishing blogs or videos, speaking at events, building with ABBYY products, providing product feedback, mentoring others, and supporting fellow community members.

MVP status is granted for one calendar year, after which members may be re-evaluated for renewal based on their continued engagement and contributions.

If you are not selected in the current cycle, you are welcome to stay engaged with the community, continue contributing, and apply again in the next intake. All contributors are valued, regardless of MVP status.
