McDonald’s relies on ABBYY OCR technology to power mobile app
During the FIFA World Cup McDonald’s Germany launched a special promotion. McDonald’s prepared a large number of cups and food packaging on which they printed a unique code. Consumers were able to take a picture of the code with their mobile using an app developed by creative agency Razorfish and send it to the ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK where the code was read and converted.
